Anyone interested in a 21 day art project?
This art challenge is from the folks who do the yearly 100 Day Project and starts on Sept. 17th -
I’ve reached the point on

24” x 30” Mixed Media Canvas Update: paint sky (again), adding paper
More acrylic paint on the sky, a dark blue stencil that barely shows up, some blue Posca pen, and origami paper.

24” x 30” Mixed Media Canvas Update: selecting colors
In the reference photo, it’s day. I want to put in stars, so my art will be a version of night. That means

            24” x 30” Mixed Media Canvas Update:

I drew the concept sketch for my mixed media art in Procreate today. This concept is what I’ll grid out and transfer to the 24” x 30” canvas (future notes).

Now that I’ve built up enough orange acrylic paint on the flowers, I can add yellow liquid acrylic to flow into the grooves.
Probably going to repeat that process one more time,

Boyfriend gave me one of those tear-away-paper daily calendars for Christmas. Not much revealed by the end of January, but now you can see the top of the tree-to-be.
