Depending on your time zone, you can still vote for a creator to win a sat award for making public domain content for everyone to enjoy. 🎨🎶✍️

There are a lot of sat rewards for code. This was unique in that it was about culture, and didn’t specifically have to be Bitcoin or Nostr related. Some of the proposals are, some are not. All are by folks who have listed Proof of Previous Work, which you can see on the linked webpage. ✅

There are 7 proposals (including mine) that outline what each person will create if awarded the sat prize. The final creation will be public domain and fee for anyone to remix/reuse as they wish.

Here’s a copy of my proposal for the Open Source Culture Creator Contest v.1 ….

I will write and illustrate a book called “The Wandering Portal Emporium: Invitation and Introduction.”

Similar in concept to “Thieves’ World” created by Robert Asprin, “Wild Cards” by George R. R. Martin, or the Dungeons & Dragons Open Gaming license, this book defines a fantasy, shared-world setting.

Structured like a travel guide, I will create locations, characters, environment specifics, and information on how a creator can use this book as a reference if they wish to create related open source works.”
