I’m not a concert-goer, but this one was so wonderful: new renditions of earlier songs, a new song she’s still working on and hadn’t performed for anyone yet, and a great Q&A at the end. 🤩

8/15 in my ZBD “magical internet” playlist*: “Wave Your Flags” by Phildel - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSrKaYHNTxs - Directed & animated by Youri Dekker, winner of “Best Music Video" at the British Animation Film Festival.

I found Phildel many years ago, and thanks to the magic of the Internet, was able to have conversations with her, connect her with some other folks I knew, and even received an early release of one of her CDs.

Things not easily possible without online access given we live on different continents.

Magic, indeed.
