Starting monthly art challenges at NostrArtstr - I’ll have a theme and suggestions (November is about color), but you can make it daily or weekly or only once; whatever you want.

If you end up creating more than if you hadn’t tried the challenge, then you win as far as I’m concerned. 🎉

Last year I ran #nostrichnovember as an art challenge, just to try it. Had some fun art show up from more than 1 person - which was really exciting because I had no idea if anyone would participate.

Thinking longer term, I’m want to have monthly art challenges so there’s always something available if someone wants to play along… which means a better name than Nostrich November.

Thus NostrArtstr was created.

I’ll still post my art stuff here on Rustypuppy.

Monthly, art challenge specific stuff is going through NostrArtstr.

And quoted here on Rustypuppy because that’s how you help grow a new Nostr account, right?

There’s no content there at all, but my new custom domain is now a Nostr site : https://www.nostrartstr.com 🎉

Many thanks to Npub.pro for an easy, step by step process with lots of feedback alerts that let me know things were progressing as they should when adding the custom DNS records. 👏👍🫂💙

Wasn’t going to mess with that domain until the new year, but the chance to have it directly as a Nostr site was too good a chance to miss. 😁 Now also need to add a profile photo, etc. for the related npub, but first: dinner. 🍽️
