Was also fun to work on a technique I learned from Stefan Große Halbuer about how to draw irregular shaped objects in isometric. Still need a lot more practice, but I like the way the boat came together.

Hike - Inktober prompt.

Was reading about the Stairway to Heaven hike in Oahu and wanted to try something like that in isometric. Used the grid for a few stairs, then wanted them to be half that height, so started again. Thought it was a good idea to color the planes so I could easily see how to stack them … then realized it wouldn’t be “accurate” after I rotated a step …. and decided I didn’t care after seeing how annoying it would be to recolor each one.

The little black marks on the bottom is me trying out different brushes looking for one that was pressure sensitive so I could make little steps that looked like a toe box and a heel. Given how much I really like making little steps, I need to find or make a Procreate brush that looks like a hiking boot print. 🤔

Maybe that will happen less if I try a 20 degree grid? Going to do the full month in a 30 degree grid, for practice before trying something else.
