One of the ZBD polls was about New Year resolutions. I prefer choosing a Focus/Word of the Year and 2024 is Draw. Now that 2 months are over, I look back and … I wasn’t that ‘consistent’ in theory.

In practice, I finished almost half of Procreate Bootcamp, burned out, rested up, and am ready to get back it. 👍

Also realized I’m facing Resistance (Steven Pressfield’s War of Art) about Drawing, and if I want to do what I imagine doing years from now - urban sketching - I need to address it now and build up my skills. To help that, I found some great warm up exercises by Daria Bogdanova (@daribodrawing on IG) that I’m going to work with in a sketchbook this month …. In the midst of medical appointments and taxes.

Consistency is about adaptability.
