Since November is somehow only 2 days away, it’s time to prep my monthly bullet journal. I do a modified version of the bullet system; much looser, with a lot of stickers. 😁

This one is from Notebook Therapy. Really like the printed linen covers of their seasonal collection.

Finishing the prep on my December bujo. I’m going to try using it more as a sketch journal than a bullet journal, so not designating dedicated pages for each day in case I want to use more than a single spread for any day.

Still have the monthly calendar and a list of Things To Do because there are multiple medical appointments I have to keep track of. 🗓️

This is an Archer & Olive notebook. The cover has a bit of sparkle, so it won’t be noticeable when I get glitter on it from my paper snowflakes. 👍❄️😄

For 2024, I’m going to change from my current daily bujo (bullet journal) to a sketch journal. More drawing and less of a planned structure so I can use a single page or multiple pages for a day (current process is to plan out a 2 page spread for every day and prep the whole bujo before the beginning of the month).

Towards that goal, this is my current read: Draw Your Day by Samathe Dion Baker.

I’ve kept a mostly daily bullet journal for the past 2 years. Not strictly by the book “bullet journal” but taking some parts of that system and adapting it to what I needed - Table of Contents, Monthly To Do List, some of the marks to indicate the state of a task, though I added color. I want to keep some of that structure to make sure I do things that need to get done, but I’m excited about incorporating more drawing into my day.

And the best way to add a new habit is to incorporate or hook it onto an existing habit.

Also hat tip to BayouWitch for sharing her sketchbook pages. I’ll be doing the same starting in December. :)

Time to prep my October bujo! Which means going through all the notes, TTD lists, and stickers I stashed in that month’s box. Helps me accomplish stuff, track progress on goals, and serves as a record at the end of the month when I feel I haven’t done anything (and I really always have).

I tried doing an exact bullet journal, but have taken what I liked out of that system and added my own things to make it more fun and something I want to keep up with.

This is an Archer & Olive notebook. I also like Notebook Therapy’s as well.
