Not my original intention, but I have a clearer path to realize that idea because I worked through this one. Nancy Hillis calls this the Adjacent Possible - you have work through to find the ideas that are 1, 2, 3, or more steps beyond where you are now, because you can’t see them from your current place.

I find it especially true with mixed media art - starting with something in mind … and finding where I end up. 🎨
