Ever take a photo as a memory trigger for the photo you didn’t get? This is one of those.

While walking the mountain this morning, Mom and I saw 2 hummingbirds- quite a sight as we’re in the middle of a forest, high above the town. Beautiful iridescent green with silver throats. Even as I pulled out my phone, they were gone.

So here’s a photo of the alfalfa flower the hummingbirds liked instead of the actual hummingbirds.
