After seeing how well the painted tissue paper hat and gloves turned out (and how poorly the painted stems turned out (twice)), I’m painting more tissue paper and will use that technique for the stems, leaves, and flowers.

This is a series of notes for my art project of using a reference photo of Mom’s flowers as the basis for a mixed media artwork that will be used to create a wooden jigsaw puzzle with garden whimsy pieces. Not in time for Mother’s Day, but that’s okay. 💐
