Benefits of a small town: get to know the locals, non-chain restaurants, cute shops, short drives to everything

Possible issues with a small town: having the single highway to the airport you need be closed down (with no estimate of opening after 24 hours) due to a rock slide.

Was able to push my flights out a week so (crossed-fingers) they will have both/one lane open or a ferry set up by then. Very thankful I don’t need to be home on a certain date. Called and told Boyfriend he had another week before he had to stop partying and clean house. ;)

Appreciate your good highways if you have them.
