24” x 30” Mixed Media Canvas Update: base colors on canvas and beginning layers

Painted in the main color blocks with the acrylic paint. A lot of this will get covered up, but it helps me to see what’s what while I am covering it up. 😬

Then some stamping and stencils. And remembering why I’m not found of canvases because they are difficult to stamp on (have to hold my hand on the back or the canvas bows with the pressure).

Mark making on the mountains. RIP my Sharpie marker. 🪦

Next will be more layers. Not sure what, because this is the “whatever I think will look cool” stage.
