#throwbackthursday - an oil painting I did in junior high. 🦄🦄

The unicorn in the back looked like the reference… and took so long and was so difficult to do. 😖

The unicorn in front I just winged without looking at the reference and liked so much better 😁- though I doubt it would have turned out that way if I hadn’t had all the practice and frustration with the other one. 🤔

I now think of this art as a painting of a unicorn (🦄 in background) and a real unicorn in the foreground.
